The Clocktower at The New York EDITION Hotel is the chic new restaurant from British Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton and acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr.

This 90-seat gastronomic gem is located on the second floor of the iconic Metropolitan Life building which Ian Schrager has transformed into the casually elegant New York EDITION Hotel. Jason and Ian first partnered on the critically acclaimed Berners Tavern at The London EDITION, which was recently named by London Metro as the “restaurant of the decade”.

The Clocktower is composed of three intimate dining rooms, a billiards room and a lively bar. A series of vintage black and white photos, each with its own theme, adorn the walls of each space.

The Bar & Billiard Room

“…the light of the park illuminating the restaurant’s gorgeous interiors, from the gold bar, to the marble fireplace… to the mahogany paneling, to the purple pool table.” – NY Eater

Our fabulous gold bar, made entirely of 24k gold leaf, is the perfect spot to sip on a hand-crafted specialty cocktail. Try the refreshing Dill or No Dill made from gin, fresh dill, cucumber, lemon juice, elderflower syrup and smoke salt solution while waiting for your table. Or play a game of after-work pool in the cozy billiards room adorned with vintage images of rock and roll icons.
